Tbilisi [Georgia], December 4: Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Tuesday agreed to hold talks with two former ministers and an opposition party on the country's European course, after days of increasingly tense protests by opposition supporters.
Kobakhidze, from the ruling nationalist Georgian Dream party, said last Thursday that Georgia will suspend accession talks with the European Union and refuse EU budgetary aid until the end of 2028, drawing thousands of pro-European demonstrators onto the streets. (DPA)
