Hamdan bin Zayed commends Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation for significant progress in Emiratisation file

Abu Dhabi [UAE], January 31: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region said that Emiratisation has gained significant momentum under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan also lauded the success of government initiatives that have equipped UAE citizens with future-proof skills and fostered thriving private sector job opportunities, solidifying their contribution to the nation's growth.
Sheikh Hamdan made the statements as he received at Al Nakheel Palace Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdulmanan Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in the presence of Aisha Belharfia, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, for Emiratisation, and Dr Faisal Al Ayyan, President and CEO of the Higher Colleges of Technology.
During the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan was briefed by the minister on the plans and programmes regarding the Emiratisation file, which is at the top of the priorities of the UAE government.
Sheikh Hamdan praised the Ministry's efforts in implementing the government's vision and objectives to create job opportunities for citizens in the private sector, by qualifying and raising their professional skills according to the needs of the labor market.
"The remarkable achievement of placing 92,000 citizens in the private sector by year-end 2023 merits strong commendation. This success lays the foundation for continued development and prosperity across all sectors, propelled by the wise leadership's unwavering support," Sheikh Hamdan said.
He commended the Higher Colleges of Technology's strategic shift toward shaping the UAE's applied education landscape, in alignment with the wise leadership's vision to cultivate top-tier national capabilities.
