Hezbollah says it has launched 961 military operations against Israel

Feb 05, 2024

Tel Aviv [Israel], February 5: The Lebanese group Hezbollah has released an infographic detailing its claimed attacks on Israel since the outbreak of the war on Gaza.
Hezbollah said it hit 56 Israeli military vehicles, 26 command centres and two Iron Dome missile defence batteries over the past 120 days. The group also said that its attacks have resulted in more than 2,000 Israeli casualties - a far higher number than the losses announced by Israel.
Israel and Hezbollah have engaged in near daily exchanges of fire across the Israeli-Lebanese border, sparking fears of an all-out war.
Israel's chief military spokesperson, Daniel Hagari, says that Israeli forces have attacked 3,400 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, including 120 border surveillance outposts, 40 caches of missiles and other weaponry and more than 40 command centres since October 7.
Speaking at a briefing today, Hagari said "Everywhere Hezbollah is, we shall be.
We will take action everywhere required in the Middle East"
Hagari also noted that Israel had deployed three army divisions along its side of the Lebanese border.
With tens of thousands of its northern residents evacuated, Israel has threatened to escalate the Lebanon fighting unless Hezbollah backs off from the border area - and has sought Western help in finding a diplomatic solution in Beirut.
