Iraq announces killing of eight Daesh leaders

Baghdad [Iraq], October 31: Iraq announced the discovery of the bodies of eight leaders of the terrorist organisation Daesh in the northern part of the country.
In a statement today, the Iraqi Ministry of Defence's Joint Operations Command reported that Iraqi Air Force aircraft conducted strikes on Daesh positions in Kirkuk Governorate in northern Iraq the day before yesterday.
Following the operation, the bodies of the eight leaders were found in the Hamrin mountain range, along with weapons, ammunition, explosives, logistical supplies, and communication devices.
