Oct 27, 2024

Tehran [Iran], October 27: Fighting continued in Lebanon on Saturday, hours after Israel launched attacks on military sites in Iran.
A paramedic died and five other people were injured in a presumed Israeli air attack on a health centre in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese Health Ministry reported.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) declined to comment on the incident, which could not be independently verified.
The IDF reported that around 80 projectiles had been fired at Israeli territory by the Iran-backed militia by Saturday afternoon, and said it had also intercepted drones.
Hezbollah said it had launched a number of attacks.
The IDF meanwhile added that the Israeli air force had attacked Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, including in Beirut's southern suburbs, where it said Hezbollah positions were located under civilian buildings in densely populated areas. (DPA)
